Had to install the nvidia drivers to be able to use some apps. Then to get the touch pad not to be annoying i changed a registry setting to disable tap to click. Which didn't completely work because it couldn't see the mac partition. Installed windows 8, (should have installed 7 then upgraded to 8, if you don't go in this order then you will have to call microsoft when their tech support is available.) Once i got windows 8 installed i was able to install bootcamp. Eventually after some fiddling I got all the partitions, off. so i had to change some of them in Fdisk guid partitions were marked as non deletable. Windows couldn't remove some of the partitions. ![]() Removed every partition, so yes it was scary (wasn't totally sure restoring mac OSX would work). Used the bootcamp windows install usb disk to completely format and remove all mac partitions. And I used bootcamp but used it to completely remove mac os x
